Triumphant Entry Of Sanusi Into The Emir's Palace

The new Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi Lamido Sanusi XI, yesterday afternoon made a triumphant entry into the Emir's palace seven days after he was so appointed by the Kano state Government. A mammoth crowd of well wishers, Royal guards, and heavily armed policemen escorted the new emir whose appointment was greeted by violence in the city to the palace.
